Release and Submission

It's a good day for me--today is the release date of A Lady Raised High: A Novel of Anne Boleyn, written as Laurien Gardner, published by Berkley Jove. I adore the book, and I am so happy to see it out.

Also, I finished and submitted my vampire novella to Dorchester--on time! I am proud of myself to hit a deadline without having to ask for a couple extra days. I never seem to plan it exactly, but the last two submissions went in bang on time. Let's hope this continues.

So it's in-and-out day. I submitted one manuscript and another is released. To celebrate I will attend my local RWA chapter meeting and take the minutes. Do I know how to party or what??

Actually, my husband is taking me out to dinner tomorrow night, so that will be nice.

Take care!

Getting it Done Monday again

All right, accomplishments today have been registering for RT (finally--call me Last-minute Letty), proofing an ad for Romance Sells, and doing some paperwork for a conference I'll be speaking at in Nebraska. Still need to go through my file of where to send promo items and pack up some things. I so need an assistant--no, wait, he kissed me and went off to work already. :)

More writing today, too. I'm rocking on a novella, wrote a third of it this weekend. Let's hope I can keep rocking.

Get it done Monday--I know it's Wednesday

I was so busy Monday I didn't have time to do my "Get It Done" post.

I set up to have banners, reviews, and contests done on a site for some upcoming books. Also contacted a bookstore about doing a signing for Lady Raised High, which reminds me I have to follow up on that.

I'm also trying to get a 55K novel done by Friday, so of my most energy is focused on that. Almost done!!

Feel free to post your own "Get It Done" accomplishments--doesn't matter if it was Monday or Tuesday or whenever.
