Release Day! Many Sins of Lord Cameron and Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie

Yay!! Today The Many Sins of Lord Cameron hits the shelves! I've had reports of sightings at Wal-mart, Borders going out of business sales, and other places. It is also available as an ebook on Nook, Kindle, Sony, etc etc.

Also released is The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie once again available! It has been out of print (and e-) since December, so I'm thrilled it's on the shelves again!

I hope you enjoy Cameron's story and have a chance to revisit Ian!

I have a page dedicated to the Mackenzies, which I've recently updated with news about forthcoming books and more character sketches. http://www.jennifersromances.com/NewSite/Mackenzies/mackenzie_main.html

Pride Mates (Shifters Unbound Series)

Next week (July 5), Pride Mates, the first book of the Shifters Unbound series, will be back on the shelves!! It's being re-printed by Berkley (is already available as an ebook).

I was thrilled that Berkley could again use the cover art by Franco. I love that picture.

I have more announcements about this series, but I have to wait until everything's concrete before I give you some fun news. Darn it.

On another note: The Many Sins of Lord Cameron, which has been getting some fabulous reviews from Publisher's Weekly and RT Bookreviews, is just around the corner. AUGUST 2!! Coinciding with the re-release of The Madnesss of Lord Ian with a brand new cover.

I can't get to RWA this year, but I assure you, I'll be spending the time writing. On the fun things I will tell you about soon. :-) And many other things!

New Covers for the Mackenzies Series!!

Two new covers--The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie and The Many Sins of Lord Cameron. Both releasing August 2, 2011 (Madness as a reprint).

Both are pre-orderable at Amazon (Madness, Cameron), B&N (Madness, Cameron), Borders (Madness, Cameron) and wherever else you like to pre-order books. They will be available in both print and ebook editions.

Elizabeth Hoyt gave me some nice quotes for both. She rocks. :-)

Exciting stuff!!

Updates

I seriously need to update my website, and I'm working on that. In the meantime:

Highlander Ever After will be re-released January 1, 2011 as a trade-sized paperback (the big ones). It is the same as the earlier mass market release, just in a different size (this was the publisher's decision). You can order it from Amazon by clicking this link.

Other news: The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie will be re-released by Berkley in August 2011 to coincide with the release of The Many Sins of Lord Cameron. You can preorder those by clicking the titles.

Note that while Lord Ian will have a new cover, it is the same book. No changes. Just a new cover and new publisher!

I will overhaul my website soon, especially the Books page, to reflect the changes in how to buy my Dorchester books, and which books are or are no longer available. I've basically switched entirely to Berkley, so my books going forward should be easier to obtain.

Take care during the Christmas rush!

Autistic/Asperger's characters

Inspector Lewis Sunday night (on PBS), featured a character, an Oxford student, who had Asperger's. The character reminded me very much of Ian Mackenzie! He never looked straight into anyone's eyes, he knew what time he arrived anywhere to the exact minute and how long he stayed, was an artist who could draw anyone rapidly after a quick glance, he knew the social things he was "supposed" to do, but didn't really understand or much care why, and he was the master of the nonsequiter. The actor who portrayed him did a wonderful job. The character gets a lot of air time, and it was a good mystery.

You can watch the show online until September 13:

More on Kindle of Lord Ian

I've been told that there is a technical glitch of some kind getting the Kindle version of Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie up and running. So please, continue clicking on the "I'd like to read this in Kindle" link on the Ian page:

Which is here

And light candles to the tech gods that it gets resolved soon. I'm seriously annoyed (as are those of you waiting for the Kindle version), but candles and chanting is about all we can do for now. Thank you for your patience.

Kindle version of Lord Ian?

I've been getting many questions about when the Kindle version of Madness of Lord Ian is coming out, and here's my answer: I don't know!!

What can you (my wonderful readers) do about it?:

Go to the Amazon page for Madness of Lord Ian:

Which is here

and click the link that says "Tell the publisher! I'd like to read this book on Kindle" That link sends a message to Amazon that there's an interested customer (it doesn't grab your name or anything; it's just an alert to Amazon that someone clicked.)

Apparently, the more interest Amazon gets, the faster the Kindle version will be put up.

I truly don't know what is up with the Kindle version. My other books have come out in Kindle almost right away. In fact, this is only one of the frustrating release problems with this book; there have been other fiascoes.

But hey, if the clicking works, I'm all for it! So if you want Kindle, please go click!

Virtual Book Signing

Today I'm at Night Owl Romances with something a little different--a "virtual" booksigning.

How it works: If you purchase any of my books today (online or in a store), stop by the site, fill out the form (it explains how you do a proof of purchase), and I send you a goodie package, with includes my autograph.

Any of my books are eligible, purchased wherever you shop--only new copies, not used.

Tammie at Night Owl has done a few of these, and I hear they're great fun. So stop buy, get a book, and get some goodies!

Finding Ian

I've been hearing readers saying they are having difficulty finding Madness of Lord Ian, especially at Borders. I truly don't know what is up with that. I know (because I've seen it with my eyeballs), that it is well stocked at B&N and Walmart, and of course indie booksellers. Also, if it hasn't hit a Target in your area it should very soon. And there's always online.

Did you know you can buy online from Indie Booksellers? Since I'm an indie fan, here's a link to where you can find Lord Ian in bookstores, online booksellers, and the like:

Thanks to the readers who have already emailed me about Lord Ian. I appreciate every single one!
